Snowmobiling
The South Fork Area boasts over 255 miles of groomed and marked snowmobile trails courtesy of our two snowmobile clubs plus plenty of open meadows and steep hill climbs. Terrain starts at 8,500 feet and climbs to nearly 12,000 feet. Guide services and tours are available for families and adventurers alike.

Fishing
Over 30 miles of the Rio Grande River is designated as "Gold Medal" fishing. Thirteen lakes and a multitude of creeks and streams are available within twenty miles of South Fork. Big Meadows Reservoir and Beaver Creek Reservoir are popular fishing spots and just a short drive from town. There are many angler guides available to teach you the tips and tricks of Rocky Mountain fishing.

Wolf Creek Ski Area
Wolf Creek Ski Area boasts the most natural snow of any ski area in Colorado every season and delights the locals and visitors alike with challenging downhill experiences. Wolf Creek's six lifts service incredibly beautiful terrain, over 1,600 acres. Predominantly tree skiing and boarding, these 1,000 acres have a few groomed trails for everyone's 'interests and enjoyment.
